You may have been following our progress with Young Enterprise so far (if not click here) and seen that we have been mentoring a fantastic team of boys from Kings College School: Cover Initiative!
To keep you updated on their amazing achievements so far, the boys powered through the challenge of writing a business report and ended up in a well-earned place in the Sutton and Merton Area Final. At this final, an excellent trade stand and a professional, business presentation later, they won the Runner Up Business award securing their place in the South London Final.
And just when we thought they couldn't get any better, at the South London Final, they won the best Trade Stand award too!
So a big well done to the Cover Initiative team! We are very proud of you and have loved working with you this year! Looking forward to another successful year of working with Kings in 2013/14.
Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
