WSM has been joining in efforts of saving the planet and becoming an environmentally friendly office. During the year, we have saved a fantastic 1,529kg of CO2.
In May 2012, WSM signed up to the First Mile Easy Recycling initiative and ever since, we have been recycling nearly anything we can get our hands on: plastic, paper, food, ink cartridges (we would have saved more if it had not been for the vast bulk of our newspapers being stolen by Simon for his litter of newborn puppies). For every tonne of rubbish that we have been recycling, First Mile removes a tonne of CO2 from the atmosphere forever.
We are expecting to more than double our efforts in 2013!

Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
