WSM are proud to announce that we have chosen the Polka Theatre for our charity of 2020.
A few words from the team at Polka Theatre:
At Polka we empower children to navigate their world through inspirational theatre and creative experiences. Every year we welcome over 90,000 children aged 0-12 years, their families, schools and community groups and invite them to share in a world class programme of theatre. The first dedicated children’s theatre in the UK, Polka also run a pioneering Creative Learning Programme for over 20,000 children.
We are delighted to be WSM’s Charity of The Year. Their support will help us continue our vital work with children in the local community in Merton and complete our first major redevelopment since we opened our doors in 1979!
Together we can create a state of the art Children’s Theatre venue, the only venue of its kind in the whole world, for all children to enjoy regardless of their background or ability.
WSM are looking forward to working together with the team at the Polka Theatre to help them raise awareness and funds for their fabulous theatre in Wimbledon.
