The Europefides AGM took place at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury hotel in London this year, hosting over 50 guests from different european countries who flew in to attend the weekend event which took place between the 22-24 September.
Surviving Winter 2022 -A climate, energy and economic crisis was the overall focus of the meeting where speakers from organisation Planet Mark, experts in assisting businesses to achieve net-zero carbon output, presented statistics and an analysis of contributing factors from businesses world wide.
Roger Martin- Fagg an economist talked about the economic challenges facing the eurozone this coming winter which kick – started a panel discussion led by Simon Marsh to discuss the challenges that member firms and their clients will be facing in the coming months.
The event concluded with a workshop on resilience and wellbeing which was run by Josh Connolly followed by a cocktail evening and informal dinner.
A very informative and successful event oragnised by Nina Fischer from Europefides, Stephanie Brownings from Morr&Co and Amanda Menassa from WSM Advisors.
Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
