The South West London Area Society of Chartered Accountants were welcomed into WSM’s office for the day where they held their AGM. Members of the ICAEW gathered on Monday 15th July to approve the accounts of the Society, independently examined by Andrew Bithray from WSM Advisors Limited.
Two years ago, the Society was revived by Evie Bowyer on the proviso that Annie Lee came on board as her Vice-Chair. The Society welcomed Annie Lee as the new Chair and three new committee members. Peter Langdon is the incoming Secretary. Murray McPherson is the incoming Treasurer. Chris Jorio is the new Programme Organiser. Watch this space for their brand new exciting programme.
After a successful wine tasting evening with WSM staff early this year, William from Spirited Wines of Wimbledon was welcomed back to entertain and tell tales about each of the wines from his collection from around the world. Congratulations to Murray for winning the wine quiz and took home a bottle of bubbly!
Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
