Last Thursday, some of the girls decided to join in the seasonal festivities and get tickets for the popular Christmas Carols evening organised by the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. It was held in the packed out Holy Trinity Church just next door to the hospital, enabling some of the patients to join in the fun as well.
The charity managed to get special guest, Michael Ball once again, who was joined by The London Chorus and soprano soloist Jocelyn Somerville. The local junior choir from Putney High School also performed some carols and had us all entranced. The evening had us all feeling very Christmassy, with opportunities to join in on the better known hymns such as Ding Dong Merrily on High and While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks, as well as enjoying mince pies and mulled wine.
The evening was a great opportunity to get together with the charity and support them one last time in 2015.
Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
