Yesterday evening, WSM joined forces with local solicitor, Russell-Cooke to sponsor the Rugby World Cup 2015 talk at Bookfest. We were delighted that rugby commentator, TV personality and lawyer (apparently) Brian Moore was joined by the very handsome Nick Evans from Harlequins and former All Black and England world cup winner, Jason Leonard. The evening was incredibly entertaining as the trio reminisced about playing in previous world cup tournaments and discussed their thoughts on the 2015 World Cup.
Once again, we were lucky to host a drinks reception where our guests and Russell-Cooke’s were able to mingle and catch up in the William Morris tent before the talk. The event was a well anticipated one in the WSM office, with several keen rugby enthusiasts and we had no trouble getting guests involved! In the second half of the talk, Brian opened questions to the floor, giving the audience a chance to throw some interesting rugby questions at the audience.
A fantastic evening was had by all and we would like to thank the organisers at Bookfest for all the hours they have put in to creating such a brilliant ten days of events. For more information, visit the website, www.wimbledonbookfest.org.
