It was that time of year once again, when the fantastic literary delight that is ‘Wimbledon Bookfest’ took its usual place on Wimbledon Common. The two weeks of magic that started from the 4th through to the 14th October saw the attendance of famous writers, authors, well known celebrities and chat show hosts who all kept their fans and followers up to date on their new and latest edition of their books and biographies.
WSM have been sponsoring this epic festival for a number of years and this year were proud to sponsor the fantastic event which saw Peter Hain in conversation with Steve Bloomfield talking about his new biography ‘Mandela’. A very interesting and insightful look into his essential life.
A drink and canapes reception started the event off nicely and ended with all those who attended receiving a copy of Mr Hains new book personally signed by the author himself.
