Cape Wrath Films

WSM is involved in providing accounting, VAT and payroll services to Cape Wrath Films Limited, an independent film production company who have been making a new feature film called ‘Edie’. They were on location in Scotland this time last year and over the last six months the pick-ups have been shot, the soundtrack  composed and recorded and the final editing completed. The lead actress in the film is Sheila Hancock who is outstanding in the role as Edie, and a young Scottish actor, Kevin Guthrie, plays opposite her.

The exciting news is that the film has been selected for the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June and Mark Stothert, the producer, is currently in final negotiations with two film distributors for the worldwide distribution rights. Paul is the Production Accountant on the film and both he and WSM Partners LLP appear in the film credits at the end.
