The Kingston Expo now in its fifth year was held at Kingston University’s Business School, on Wednesday 14th June.
Starting early with a very civilised networking breakfast, the WSM team were once again thrilled to have a stand at the much anticipated event.
Adam and Doug from WSM Marks Bloom were there to offer advise on Insolvency from our Kingston offices and Annie and Dave from WSM Advisors representing and giving good tax advise from our Wimbledon office.
The event was officially opened at 09:30am by returning MP for Kingston and Surbiton, Sir Ed Davey, and was attended by over 500 visitors who had the opportunity to meet the exhibitors, engage in some speed networking, attend workshops and be inspired by great speaker sessions. Fortunately we held a good location in the event and we were able to meet lots of new contacts and converse with local businesses and entrepeneurs as they were exhibiting their businesses.
The day concluded with a drinks reception sponsored by Russell Cooke, with returning MP for Richmond Park (and North Kingston), Zac Goldsmith, attending to close proceedings.

Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
