Simon Marsh a Partner at WSM attended and presented at one of the most anticipated EuropeFides meetings of the year, organised by some of the members from BDP Shanghai and R&T Consulting, which was held on Chinas central coast in Shanghai, the countrys biggest city and global financial hub.
Simon was accompanied by Catherine Fisher and John Andrews from Morrisons Solicitors who in turn presented to the EuropeFides members about the on going events of Brexit, Foreign Investment and Doing Business in the UK.
The main agenda of the AGM was based on doing business and investing in China and included workshops on: Investment opportunities and conditions for setting up a business in China, Markets and development in China, Tax system in China, Growing outbound business for the European advisory companies and Changing labour market in China.
Following on from the presentations the audience members raised a number of key issues for both themselves and their businesses when looking to do business and invest in the UK. Simon, John and Catherine answer three of the biggest questions raised during their trip which are high lighted here

Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
