Introducing Insolvency at the AAT

Last week, the first AAT London branch event of the year took place at Canada Water Library, with our very own Lauren Cullen, introducing insolvency to 67 accountants.

These AAT branch events are a great opportunity to network with other AAT professionals, and when Lauren was invited to speak on insolvency, we thought it was a great opportunity to showcase the new WSM: Marks Bloom brand.

There are lots of changes going on in the tax world that are impacting on insolvency, so it is essential that these are made clear. On top of this, Lauren also looked at how to recognise when insolvency is necessary, accountants’ obligations to insolvency practitioners and practical advice for accountants and their clients.

If you are interested in this topic, please contact Lauren directly or if you are a member, catch her at the next AAT presentations:

  • AAT North West Kent: Holiday Inn Bexley on 15th June
  • AAT East Surrey: Hallmark Hotel Croydon on 11th October
