Paul Strank Roofing Charity Gala

Saturday evening saw the return of the annual Paul Strank Charity Ball, perfectly timed to follow on from Manchester United's memorable victory over Liverpool in the late football fixture. Held in aid of two local children's charities, Shooting Star Chase and OneLife UK, at The Bank of England Sports Centre; the gala started with a bang and hurtled through the evening like a runaway train!

Hosted by the legendary Christopher Biggins sporting a flamboyantly sequined dinner jacket, there was wall to wall entertainment culminating in a fabulous performance by Beverley Knight. My personal highlight of the evening was joining WSM's Simon Marsh, Andrew Bithray and the rest of the audience in a conga led by former Britain's Got Talent finalist 'Stavros Flatley', whose Riverdance performance will linger in the memory for all those in attendance. Congratulations to the team at Paul Strank Roofing who managed to raise a fantastic £70,053.59 for the charities!

Ian Mitchell

We were delighted to help raise money for Shooting Star Chase and OneLife UK alongside our client Paul Strank Roofing. WSM and its staff support a number of local charities throughout the year, in particular our charity for 2015, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.
