At 5:30pm on Thursday 21st November a small crowd from WSM descended upon the Hand and Racquet pub for the last Wimbledon Young Professional Group (WYPG) of 2013 and to celebrate its 4th Birthday.
“With the aim of helping people in the area meet like-minded professionals”, WYPG was founded by Morrisons Solicitors in 2009. All young professionals based locally around Wimbledon are welcome to the WYPG events, which provide great networking opportunities away from the hustle and bustle of the workplace.
The evening, sponsored by WMS Financial, was a great success with at least 50 local professionals in attendance from a wide range of sectors and representing numerous local businesses. Congratulations to Cordelia de Freitas from Box Galleries, who was the lucky winner of the business card draw which boasted a prize of dinner for two at Marco Pierre White's retaurant in Central London. The team from WSM had a fantastic night and cannot wait for the next WYPG in January!

Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
