Rainbow Trust is a children’s charity that provides emotional and practical support for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness throughout the UK.
Here are a few examples of the support they provide to families:
· Practical tasks in the home – taking the stress from parents by helping around with activities around the house
· Spending time with sick children at times when parents are unable to
· Spending time with siblings
· Emotional support during the bereavement process

On Thursday 7th February, Holly Jenkins, a corporate fundraiser from Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, came to visit us at WSM to give a presentation and discuss fundraising ideas. Amongst several other suggestions, she mentioned George, Zippy and Bungle costumes from Rainbow which will almost definitely be borrowed for our activities throughout the year.

Amanda graduated from Brunel University, with a joint honours degree, achieving a BSC and BA degree in Leisure Management and Television and film studies. Amanda started her career in a customer service role before joining the hotel group Le Meridien as an Events coordinator, she was in the hotel industry for seven years and during her time won an award from a major international airline for her outstanding attitude and dedication to customer service, which she achieved while working for the Rezidor hotel group in the position of Airline Crew Manager. Amanda has over 20 years experience in customer relations and event management.
