About DougDoug joined WSM as part of the merger with Marks Bloom where he had worked since 2011 having previously completed Bachelors’ and Masters’ degrees in Politics and Diplomacy respectively. Post-university, after time spent working in the Middle East, he gained experience in the insolvency sector, passing the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency, before joining Marks Bloom. Doug went on to study and pass the Joint Insolvency Exam Board examinations in 2014 and was granted his insolvency licence by the ICAEW in January 2017. He is also a Member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals. Outside of work he is a keen sports fan, a Harlequins Rugby Club season ticket holder and has recently become a father to his son, John.
