WSM run 10k for Charity

Since selecting Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) as our chosen charity of the year, WSM has been organising and taking part in fundraisers to raise awareness and money for this great cause.

And so it was on an early Sunday morning a team of 10 from WSM embarked on a 10K run. The run took place on Headley Heath near Leatherhead, an area of outstanding beauty managed by the National Trust. After a week of heavy rain and forecasts of more to come, luck must have been on our side as the sun shone brightly.

Over 240 other runners joined us on the course with the fastest time recorded as 36 minutes. Sadly that didn’t belong to a WSM runner but Ben Stanton earned our quickest time of 52 minutes- not to be sniffed at!

We managed to raise £1,000 for the GOSH- many congratulations to everyone who ran and thank you to all our supporters.
