The lovely employees of WSM came together for a fantastic cause yesterday as we took part in a Lunch Fundraiser for our charity of the year, the Willow Foundation, that works with seriously ill young adults to provide 'Special Days'.
The much-loved Wimbledon Bookfest returned for it’s tenth anniversary this year, bringing ten days of fantastic events to Wimbledon Common. WSM are proud to be lead sponsors of the festival again this year and to help Bookfest welcome such a wide array of talent to SW19.
The last couple of months have seen several changes to the team in both Wimbledon and Kingston. Sadly we had to say goodbye to Tasmeen who, after five years, has decided to pack her bags, buy a campervan and go travelling with her boyfriend across the Americas.
WSM employees look forward to the annual Summer Event with great anticipation and perhaps more so this year with our day at JB ski water sports. Friday began with a light drizzle, but not enough to dampen our spirits and by the time we had assembled for the coach and a bacon roll, the rain had stopped and the sun had started to appear.
The bi-annual EuropeFides AGM took place last weekend in the beautiful city of Vienna and what better time to do so, giving us the opportunity to speak to our connections across the continent following the Brexit vote a couple of weeks ago.
A combined WSM/Marks Bloom/Crestbridge XI took to the field in a replay of last year’s inaugural cricket match against solicitors, Russell Cooke, at the Barn Elms Cricket Ground in Barnes, South West London on Thursday evening.
