Crowds gathered in Wimbledon yesterday to watch the unveiling of a 10ft iron stag.
Paul Windsor, partner at WSM and chairman of the Love Wimbledon Improvement District, said: "The completion of the improvement works and the unveiling of a significant public work of art marks the beginning of an investment program, by the Wimbledon business community, to help generate a renewed civic pride in our wonderful town".
Since selecting Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) as our chosen charity of the year, WSM has been organising and taking part in fundraisers to raise awareness and money for this great cause.
And so it was on an early Sunday morning a team of 10 from WSM embarked on a 10K run.

On the 1st May, 2012 WSM were amongst guests at the Merton Chamber of Commerce’s (MCC) 20th Birthday celebration and annual AGM, at Cannizaro House Hotel. Having supported the Chamber for 20 years, the team at WSM were thrilled to receive an award and delighted to join in celebrating such a dynamic and positive, Chamber of Commerce.
The business community in Wimbledon recently voted in favour of operating a Business Improvement District (BID) for a five year period from 1st April 2012. A BID means that a levy is added to the annual business rates bills paid by local companies. This cash is passed to the BID Company to be spent in the BID area.
