Merton Best Business Awards 2015 Launch

The Merton Best Business Awards are back for the sixth year in a row and Thursday evening saw the launch party take place at the Taste restaurant at South Thames College Merton Campus for the second time running. Once again the students served up delicious canapés and drinks, whilst music was provided by the college’s talented jazz band.

Turnout was good with around 100 people in attendance; there for more information on entering the business awards and the networking opportunities that they bring. The WSM team were out in force, and as headline sponsors, Simon Marsh was able to say a few words on the excellent opportunities available to businesses in the Merton borough. He went on to say how delighted we were to be working alongside the fantastic Merton Chamber of Commerce and award winning Merton Council once again and how important it is to recognise the passion and entrepreneurship of the local business people.

The exciting news this year is that the new category, The Customer Service Award, will be voted for by the public. For more information on all the other categories, please visit the website www.mertonbestbusiness.co.uk.
