Future Leaders Awards

Yesterday evening, Patricia and I were delighted to be invited to attend the launch of the Future Leaders award, an award created to promote, recognise and reward female talent. Held at the beautiful Chartered Accountants Hall, and sponsored by Capgemini, HSBC and the ICAEW, the launch was grand, sophisticated and buzzing. It has been running since 2010 and is aimed at women from any sector who have high potential and are exceptional, ambitious and give 200% all the way.

The evening commenced with networking, wine and canapés… The first lady we spoke to happened to be a finalist from 2010, Shelley White, who gave a fantastic insight into the advantages of being involved with the awards and City Women organisation. The networking was followed by speeches from the organisers, sponsors and then previous winners and finalists. It is amazing to hear how much the award has impacted each of these women's lives, both career and confidence-wise.
