In fulfilment of the firm’s on going commitment to being a socially responsible employer, an annual ballot is held so that everyone has an opportunity to vote for the charity that they would like the firm to support for the forthcoming year. As ever, there were some great nominations and we are delighted to announce that for 2016 we will be working with the Willow Foundation.

Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill adults aged 16 to 40 to grant uplifting and treasured Special Days. These Special Days can be experiences which allow people to forget about the seriousness of their conditions and regain some normality in their lives; reconnect and create powerful memories with loved ones; or may be the last chance to fulfil a dream.

The charity was founded in 1999 by Bob Wilson, former Arsenal football player, in memory of his daughter Anna who died of cancer aged 31. According to the website, ‘Anna’s love of life and the enriching experiences of her own Special Days were the charity’s inspiration’.

For more information on the charity you can visit the website here and keep up to date with what we do on our news and Twitter pages. If you would like to donate you can do so here.
