Running 5K for 5K

In our quest to raise awareness and funds for our chosen charity of 2018, ‘Operation Smile’, myself and 12 other team members are taking part in a 5K inflatable run at Kempton Race Course on the 1st September. ‘Start mountain’, ‘crash – bang wallop’, ‘ripple runner’, ‘the hurdles’, ‘bish bash’, ‘storm the walls’ and ‘mega mountain’ are just a few of the obstacles that we will be facing along the course, ten altogether will be placed around the course and for us to complete it we will have to climb over them, through them or jump off them!  We are all set for the challenge though and I am sure our well trained legs will find the strength to make it to the end. The amount of support that we have received has been amazing and we have raised £2095.00 of our target of 5k so far. We still have a fair way to go in order to reach our target so If you would like to support us by sponsoring us, please click here.

Team members taking part in the race: Amanda, Annie, Claire, Chirag, Edward, Linzi, Negar, Peter, Simone, Samara, Tracey, Thomas, Yvonne and Annie’s daughter Connie.
